Venue of the Month: Baan Sillapin Artist Village

Originally this feature was going to be the venue of the week! Oh, well. These things happen.

Baan Sillapin Artists Village is Hua Hin’s original arts centre, opened in 1998 on a 10-rai (approx. 4 acres or 1.6 hectare) site in the hills just to the West of central Hua Hin. Baan Sillapin includes large galleries of arts and antiques, artist studios, a coffee and gift shop, and classrooms for their very-popular classes in painting and sculpture. The facility is a frequent host of special exhibitions and performance events. Read on… More

The Hua Hin Arts Guide ON-AIR!

We have a radio show! That’s right. Sky Web Radio 98.5 FM, broadcasting from the top floor of Market Village , have invited us to do a  report every Monday at 3pm. It’s a dual-language show, with the fabulously bilingual “DJ Sunny” (Satsanee Sitapan), a professional interpreter, interviewing us and translating our English into Thai on the spot. First broadcast was this past Monday, 25 October, with the next show on 1 November. Check us out!
